It’s simple. All that’s hard is agreeing to do it. Every single one of you human beings have to be in on the experiment. An armistice for one year. Lay down your guns. All that ammunition keeps your thoughts focused on war, whether your weapons be pointed at yourself or someone else. Bury the bullets. Stand peacefully on the land all people share. It’s never been tried. But it’s the way.
