a man slept inside his boat
gales raged across the lake
waves poured into the vessel
comrades woke him in terror
watched in surprise
as he subdued the storm
water and wave became calm

asleep on the job
we use energy on shame and blame
or call this Great Shaman
for more miracle
in troubled waters
